Claire Smutz has 36 years’ experience within financial areas.  She offers an extensive financial, clerical, and management background and is an individual with eye for detail, performance excellence, timeliness, and accuracy; organized but flexible, and plan implementation.  Ms. Smutz is a strategic thinker with the expertise to balance physician, staff, and patient needs to an impact on business success.  She oversaw the Registration, Accounts Receivable, PBX, and worked closely with the Accounting Department and the Medical Records.  Ms. Smutz joined CTMH | Doctors Hospital August 2, 2016.

Prior to her work with CTMH | Doctors Hospital, Ms. Smutz held the following positions:

  • 1974- 2015 Fremont Health Hospital Fremont, Nebraska held position of Supervisor of Admission, Patient Account Coordinator, and OP Registration, and Director of Business Services.
  • 2015-2016 Susan B Allen Hospital Eldorado, Kansas held position of Director of Business Services which included the Patient Account department, Admission department and PBX.
