CTMH recently received the Caribbean Pharmacy Innovators Award for 2016 from the Caribbean Association of Pharmacists (CAP).
Sponsored by Boehinger-Ingelheim, CariMed and HIC Lowe, this prestigious honour is awarded to an individual, organization or institution that has developed new concepts, ideas, products, techniques or institutions that have benefited healthcare, Caribbean Pharmacy and the wider society.
David Pellow, board member and Acting COO at CTMH accepted the award on behalf of the hospital while attending the 36th Annual CAP Convention in Jamaica. Mr. Pellow stated, “CTMH strives to continually benefit the people of the Cayman Islands and the Caribbean Region with the latest technology. We are humbled and extremely grateful to receive this recognition and honoured to accept this award.”
Caribbean Association of Pharmacists (CAP) is celebrating their 40th year in 2016. They are a network of care providers dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people. The association achieves this by fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement among the membership in pursuance of the advancement of the profession of Pharmacy.
