Our Journey
Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital (CTMH) first opened its doors in the year 2000 with Dr. Steve Tomlinson at the helm. His mother Chrissie’s life was dedicated to the nurturing of all God’s creatures. Aligning his business model of adapting healthcare and changing medical knowledge with his late mother’s moral compass of compassion and nurture, a new standard in Cayman’s medical community was established.
CTMH’s highly specialised physicians successfully provided affordable medical care to the Cayman Islands for 16 years. Creating this family dynamic amongst the community instilled the trust and well-being that Dr. Tomlinson is known for to this day. It is with these core values that the foundation of Doctors Hospital Cayman has been built on. We are proud to reflect and honour the history of Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital as we move toward the future of medicine in Cayman.
