Introduction
Doctors Hospital is home to some of the Cayman Islands’ most advanced imaging diagnostics. Our radiology department, led by Dr med Yaron Rado was the first to bring 3D mammography to the Cayman Islands. Dr Rado also developed the first multi-slice CT and MRI and brought about the first private sector-public sector partnership, to enable the first and only 3T MRI system to be brought on island. Technological developments have continued at Doctors Hospital with new, state of the art CT and MRI machines being introduced in November 2022.
